OUR HISTORY
In 1971, Mariano and Martha Bobadilla began their journey in the ATA Case industry. That same year, they welcomed a son into the world, Carlos Bobadilla. Mariano was an innovator, he had already established his reputation in the latin percussion industry by revolutionizing the designing and manufacturing process of conga drums. He took that same creativity into the case industry, contributing his new ideas into the case trade that have become a standard in the way cases are still designed and manufactured today.
At age 15, Carlos began to work for the family business, learning all the tricks of the trade from the best possible source, his father. Over the years of learning from his father, Carlos adopted his father’s philosophy of the importance of building a reputation for producing high quality products.
In 1995, Mariano Bobadilla passed away and the family business was eventually sold. Carlos remained in the case industry, working for and helping establish other reputable companies by sharing his knowledge.
Having seen the decline of the industry by companies producing low quality products, and after 50 years from the start of Mariano’s journey, Carlos Bobadilla began his own venture by establishing SLAM CUSTOM CASES in 2021. Carlos’ mission is to bring back Mariano’s tradition of manufacturing high quality, durable products that are made in the USA using Bobadilla family craftsmanship.
With the help of his nephew, Jorge Caamal (grandson of Mariano), Carlos plans to once again bring back the “Bobadilla” name as the leader in the road case industry.
ABOUT US
We design and build high quality road cases that are ATA(Air Transport Association) approved. Our products are custom built to fit the specifications of your valuable equipment. We build our cases using high quality birch plywood and top grade aluminum hardware making our cases durable and tough enough to withstand the test of time.
We are driven to produce high quality products at an affordable price. We believe the consumer should not have to settle for companies who choose profits over customer satisfaction.

WARRANTY
We give our customers a Satisfaction Guarantee. Our product is covered by a Limited Lifetime Warranty against manufacturing defects including components such as handles, caster wheels, and latches.
Please note that Abuse, Neglect, Misuse, and Normal Wear and Tear of our product are not covered by our warranty.
Our warranty is voided if our cases are used for rental purposes and/or maintained/repaired by a non-SLAM Custom Cases representative.
This warranty only applies to the original owner and proof of purchase may be required.
We do offer repairs for all cases not covered under our warranty at a reasonable cost.

RETURNS
Our cases are custom made to order and therefore we cannot offer any returns, refunds, or exchanges. Should you find any problem with your case, in which we are at fault, we will repair or replace any or all parts necessary free of charge. Any and all issues must be brought to our attention within 1 business day upon receipt of our product.
